Call for Performers: What’s Your Story, Chorley? 2027 

We're inviting writers, poets, storytellers, performers, speakers, literary creatives and people of the arts to be part of our annual Literary & Arts Festival, ‘What’s Your Story, Chorley?'

WYSC? celebrates the power of words in all their forms and is looking for engaging, original and inspiring performances and workshops that will captivate audiences of all ages and backgrounds. 

Whether you're an established author, spoken word artist, storyteller, literary comedian, panel discussion host, or have an innovative literary performance idea, we'd love to hear from you. 

Please note interested performers are responsible for sourcing their own venue for their performance and arranging tickets if required. Should you need some help with this please speak to one of the partnered venues below –

Ebb & Flo Bookshop 

Chorley Theatre 

Chorley covered market (please contact council for availability) 

Inspire Youth Zone 

This information will be used by the council Event Officers who will be in charge of managing the event.  

This is an application form, completion of this form does not guarentee you a performance at WYSC? 2027.
