Bellis Way Open Space - Goal Post

Overview

Bamber Bridge, Walton le Dale and Eastern parishes Community Hub have received feedback from local residents regarding the installation of a Goal end on the playing fields at Bellis Way. 

Bellis Way park and open space is significantly utilised by children in the local area. At present there is a playground and two grass playing fields. In particular the fields are used by local chidlren to play football. This proposal has been identified in response to requests from local residents for a 5-aside Goal End metal post to be installed on the grass as a permanentt fixture.

The post will be installed on the right side of the play area backing onto the path (as illustrated in the map attached). The left side of the play area will remain unaffected for others to use. The path behind the location of the post is blocked by shrubbery.

The purpose of this consultation is to gather views from local residents on this proposal.
