Local Resilience Fund Application Form
Overview
The local resilience fund is there to enable local community organisations and services to provide support to households who are struggling with the cost of living.
Each household will have different needs and access different services. As a Council we are looking to support schemes provided by local organisations (large and small) to provide practical support to households in need.
In particular we will be looking for projects and services that will help people to stay warm this winter. This may be by providing support that will enable households to meet other costs that frees up money for energy, or it may be about providing access to warm spaces.
The council would like this funding to provide additional capacity, sustainability or extend exsiting work so that individuals / households can continue to access support where it may be at risk of ending.
The total budget allocated to the fund is £70,000. We will try to distribute this funding fairly across a number of organisations. However, funding will be awarded on the basis of impact and need.
Criteria
An organisation should be delivering a service / programme or existing project which requires additional capacity, further sustainability or extension so that individuals / households can continue to access support.
Support must:
- be provided to a resident of South Ribble
- be targeted at those experiencing financial hardship and not have enough resources to meet immediate short-term needs.
Grants have no minimum or maximum (only that which is the limit of the budget allocation).
We aim to support as many households as possible. Please tell us in your expression of interest where you believe the group/housholds you are supporting are in need and how they can benefit from the interventions/service you provide.
