Review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations
Overview
Local authorities are required by law to review their polling districts and polling places for UK parliamentary constituencies at least once every five years. Each authority may choose the exact dates and length of their review. However, it must be completed within a 16 months period which expires January 2025.
Why your views matter
All residents who are included on the electoral register have the right to vote at a polling station if they so wished.
However, some polling stations we use might no longer be appropriate or accessible and we need your help to identify these polling stations so improvements can be made.
What happens next
All submissions to the consultation will be considered and a report on the review, including any recommendations for changes, will be put before councillors at the council meeting on 16 January 2025 for their decision.
