Lodge Bank Play Area Enhancement Consultation
Overview
Lodge Bank Play Area in Brinscall has been identified for enhancement through the Open Space, Sport and Recreation Strategy (OSSR). Chorley Council are proposing to upgrade the play equipment and safety surfacing within the bark chip area for 6+. Small upgrades will also be made to the toddler provision. The focus will be to create a refreshed open space that is accessible to all. The play area will be in keeping with the natural setting using predomently wooden equipment with neutral colours.
The play area is intended to largely utilise the existing footprint of the bark chip area and provide play value for ages 6 through to age 12 years old. Residents are being asked to input any comments into this survey about the site to ensure that local knowledge is transferred into the updated site design.

- What don't you like about the existing area?
- What are the ages of play area users in your household?
- Have you any suggestions on the type of equipment that should be provided on the enhanced play area?
- Any other comments?
