Improvement of access and landscaping at King George V Playing Fields, Adlington
Overview
Chorley Council are currently improving a number of the Borough’s local green spaces and funds have been allocated to improve the access and landscaping at King George V Playing Fields. The proposed scheme will deliver new footpaths, provide additional seating and create new areas of tree planting across the site.
A plan of the proposed improvements are provided here.
Why your views matter
We are inviting the public to help us to inform the new improvements by telling us:
- What you like and don’t like about the existing playing fields and its access to the public.
- How often do you use the playing fields?
- What do you use the playing fields for? Dog walking, walking, sitting and relaxing, using the play area, bike riding, scootering, playing games (including football)
- What you think about the suggested new footpaths and seating?
- What else you think would help improve the playing fields?
