South Ribble Budget Consultation 2024/25

Overview

We are looking to finalise our plans for the 2024/25 budget, and we would like your feedback on the proposals.

A summary of the proposals is:

• We are proposing to continue to invest in what residents tell us is important to them, benefitting our local residents, businesses and communities across the borough.
• To allow South Ribble to keep moving forwards, we are proposing to increase our portion of Council Tax by less than 13p more a week with no proposed cuts to services. This would equate to approximately £6.67 a year based on an average band D property.

It’s important that we get the budget right and allocate money to the things that are most important to you. As part of the budget setting process, we are seeking your views to inform the decision on the final budget which will be considered by Council on the 28^th February 2024.
