Arley Wood Drive Parking Enhancement

Chorley Council has received feedback from residents living around Arley Wood Drive regarding ongoing driving obstructions caused by parked vehicles, especially during sporting events held on the grass playing pitches.

Based on this feedback, the Council are proposing to create an additional layby with 10 parking bays on Arley Wood Drive.

We are keen to consult with residents on this issue to gain a broad range of views and experiences to inform the proposed improvements to the area. 

This consultation will close on Friday 21st August 2026
