The Corporate, Performance and Budget Scrutiny Committee is undertaking a review of how the Council communicates and engages with elected members. The review will explore how councillors are informed, consulted and involved in decision-making, policy development and service changes, with the aim of identifying opportunities for improvement.

    This interactive workshop is a key part of the review and provides all councillors with an opportunity to share their experiences, highlight what's working well, identify barriers and suggest improvements. The session will help inform recommendations aimed at creating a more consistent and effective approach to member engagement across the organisation, particularly as the Council prepares for Local Government Reorganisation.
