Potential ballcourt area and older children's equipment installation at Leyton Green, Leyland
Overview
South Ribble Borough Council are currently
improving a number of the
borough’s play facilities. Funds have been allocated to install a new ball court area and older children play equipment within the Wade Hall area of Leyland to replace the existing single goal ends at Queensway and Peacock Hall.
We carried out a consultation this summer looking at the range of potential new equipment and a suggested location of the existing kickabout area at Queensway. After reviewing the feedback from the consultation, we are looking at an alternative option of installing the equipment at Leyton Green and are seeking your views as local residents to these proposals.
The proposed scheme would include a fully enclosed ballcourt area plus additional equipment for older children with new surfacing. Lighting is also an option for the site.
Why your views matter
We are inviting the public to provide feedback on the proposal by telling us:
- Would you like to see the proposed scheme installed at Leyton Green?
