South Ribble Borough Council are currently improving a number of the borough’s play areas and funds have been allocated to refurbish Riverside Playground at Margaret Road in Penwortham.

borough’s play areas and this year funds have been allocated to refurbish the toddler playground at Ryden Avenue in Leyland.

South Ribble Borough Council have an onging improvement programme for parks and open spaces and funds have been allocated to improve the open space at Mounsey Road in Bamber Bridge.
The proposals are to create a pocket park for the local community and improvements and could include new surfacing, planting, seating and some simple items of play equipment for toddlers.
